CURRICULUM VITAE
Leonard Gene Knell M.D., F.A.C.S.
Personal Information
In my early teens I was introduced to the work of Edgar Cayce. Some call him the father of Holistic Medicine. I resonated with Cayce’s concept of holism, treating mind, body, and spirit. In my practice, I was fortunately able to bridge the gap between conventional and holistic or alternative medical treatments. Cayce introduced me to the concepts of frequencies and energy medicine, and this investigation has been a life-long passion of mine. I truly believe that the future of medicine is “Energy Medicine.” A very good source is a book called Vibrational Medicine For The 21st Century by Richard Gerber M.D. An orthopedic surgeon, Robert Becker, developed the use of pulsed electromagnetic frequencies to stimulate healing of non-unions in bone. After Nixon visited China in 1972, I became interested in acupuncture and incorporated this modality into my orthopedic practice from its inception. The premise of acupuncture is that too little or too much life energy, called ch’i, is a root cause of disturbances in animals and humans. The objective is to create a balanced flow of ch’i through the meridian system. In my Orthopedic practice I utilized acupuncture primarily as a means of controlling pain and I found it to be one of the most effective, safe, and non-addicting modalities available. I believe that everything I have learned from my previous experiences and studies has led me to my present exploration of frequencies imbued within the pocket laser.
